A new book is to be published early next year, dealing with the equipment and techniques employed at Abbey Road during the Beatles era of recordings.

The product of over 15 years combined research by the authors, and featuring interviews with many of the engineers and technicians involved on the actual sessions, this book deals in depth with the mixing desks, tape machines, microphones, echo chambers and outboard equipment used at Abbey Road during the 1960's and early 70's.
